Traditional fashion involves extensive supply chains, transportation logistics, and energy-intensive production methods. Digital fashion, on the other hand, relies primarily on computing resources to create and distribute virtual garments, which typically have a much lower environmental impact.

This suggests that while digital fashion has the potential to make a significant impact, it may take time for consumers to fully embrace this new paradigm.
